Hi. Donna here. Low carb for nearly 5 years now. Ive come up with a few recipes of my own & Ive tweaked some favorites from elsewhere. Its time to share.
I live on this WOE mainly to control blood sugar. I was on a steep slope sliding right toward Type II diabetes when I started. But low carb (a la Dr. Bernstein) reversed it and I can say my blood sugar is now well controlled with diet alone. I can even cheat a little & still have no huge blood sugar swings. But I can never go back to having sugary treats and bread on a regular basis. I hardly miss them anyway.
Are you annoyed with recipe blogs that go on forever about how the recipe came to be? I am. So I promise I will try to stick to only what you need to know in order to make these tried & true dishes. Maybe a few sentences about why I chose to try & improve them. But no more than a few lines.
